We organize health outreaches independently or in partnership with other organizations and/or well-meaning individuals to reach targeted groups of people and communities.
We provide world-class certified medical care in our outreaches following a 6-part model of:
- Creating Awareness and proffering health education via different media (Social media, print media, radio and television)
- Screening for breast and cervical cancer using World Health Organization approved methods
- Treating cervical dysplasia with cryotherapy and prompt referrals to appropriate specialists when necessary
- Administration of HPV vaccines
- Effective follow-up via phone call and physical sessions
- Training health workers and setting up cervical cancer screening centers like our pilot in Enugu and Gombe state in partnership with other NGOs.
How We Work!
Pre-Outreach
This includes mapping, surveying, and procurement of materials, recruitment and training
Outreach
This includes registration, data collection, screening and treatment where necessary
Post-Outreach
This includes counseling follow up which includes cytology tests, calls referral services, data analysis and reporting
Our Approach!
We are equipped with evidence-based medical skills, methods and equipment to screen women for breast and cervical cancer and provide HPV vaccines.
We also have a well-equipped cryotherapy unit to ensure immediate treatment of pre-malignant cervical lesions detected during screening.
Our follow up plan for patients who had cryotherapy for cervical dysplasia is 6 weeks which contains rescreening and retreatment where necessary.

General Health Screening
A physician will review the questionnaires and conduct a physical examination. Each participant will also be offered a chest x-ray, hearing test (audiogram), breathing test (pulmonary function test), and blood and urine tests
Health Education
We emphasizes the teaching of health information and vital skills necessary to adopt, practice, and maintain health-enhancing behaviors
Cervical Cancer Screening
Cervical cancer can often be prevented by having regular screenings with Pap tests and human papillomavirus (HPV) tests to find any pre-cancers and treat them.
HPV Vaccination
HPV vaccines can be given starting at age 9 years. All preteens need HPV vaccination, so they are protected from HPV infections that can cause cancer later in life. Teens and young adults through age 26 years who didn't start or finish the HPV vaccine series also need HPV vaccination
